International Workshop
UVM, Guadalajara (MX)
03-06 October 2023
Students designed a small architecture that permits to define a space of intimacy: the goal is to create an inhabitant space that defines a shelter against the sun, or a cover against the rain, and permits to stay comfortable underneath, using three materials: wood sticks, ropes, fabrics.
The aim of this fast workshop is to return to the fundamental of the architecture, to discover the real necessities of the space and erase all the useless additions attached to the “daily” buildings.
Students discovered a new attitude towards the act of building: their drawings matched, at last, the details of the real construction.
